Many years ago, when the world was young...I mean, when Anthony and I used to share an office...we came to work one morning and found THIS.
The card said "What the duck?" and was signed by many colleagues. What a HOOT! We never found out who the instigator was, but now I share an office with her.
That's one huge pile of ducks, by the way. When the yellow cardboard gave way (under the pressure of all those quackers) it took AGES to scoop them out from behind Anthony's desk. I kept running out of empty containers to put them in.
Nowadays, only a handful are left in our office. The rest are in a plastic organizer under a bed at home. Dreaming of their glory days.
too bad it would have taken thousands of dollars of ducks to fill that window, that would have been awesome!
ReplyDeleteOkay Ms. Duckie,
ReplyDeleteYou will definitely have to post (or read) "Slow Death by Rubber Duck: How the Toxic Chemistry of Everyday Life Affects Our Health" to your blog. How cute is that! See the blog: http://journeythruworldofbooks.blogspot.com/
